I had a propensity to take products apart when I was a kid and when took apart a calculator, I figured out that you could see right through the glass on the LCD display Then when I was playing with our daughter at pre-school, they had these blocks that had a little wood frame and a see through plastic window. The two inspirations came together into one of my favorite designs because it captures two special moments in time, one from my childhood and the other from when was playing with my daughter.
